Saying NO To Silence!
Donation protected
As many of you have just become aware of, my grandson Alex and granddaughter Maya have been the victims of sexual abuse. This is a tragedy under any circumstance. It’s made even more tragic by the fact that the perpetrator is a minor member of my son-in-law’s family.
I am grateful that this horrible, manipulative abuse has been brought to light so that my precious grandchildren will no longer suffer at his hands. I am proud of them and also of my daughter, Chelsea! She’s been so strong in handling this devastating information, and she immediately took action to protect her children and others. Silence is not an option here. Silence continues to victimize, and only benefits the abuser. It’s my hope that by breaking this silence, others will be spared. I also hope that my grandchildren see they have the strength to stand up to bullies and abusers. They are perfect, beautiful people and will always be!
Many have asked how they can help. The cost of therapy isn’t cheap, and it could be needed for a very long time. Please feel free to contribute whatever you are led to give. Anything helps.
