POSTPONED TO 21-03 3:30PM Saxophone courtyard concert in Amsterdam-East!
Location: courtyard of Hogeweg, Linnaeusparkweg, Linnaeuskade and Pythagorasstraat
We see creatives, artists and performers struggle a lot in these Covid times. There is no work to be found for almost a year now, which is financially and mentally a challenge. Also we feel a lot for the people at home who don’t have the opportunity to go out anymore.
We would love to bring some aliveness to the neighborhood and let people enjoy a live concert again! This time reaching into peoples own home by playing from a courtyard, facing others, gardens, terraces and balconies. It give these four saxophone players a platform to shine again. Your donation would be much appreciated.

About the show: Work will be played of Albéniz, Iturralde, Glass, Bozza and more!Travelling hasn’t been much of an option during these past times, but you have to wait no longer - the Dokwerk Saxophone Quartet will take you on a musical journey through various regions and cultures across the globe .What was your summer’s destination? Sweet French airs, fervent Spanish Flamenco rhythms, wine and olives at sunset in Greece or across the Atlantic. We will bring all that to an Amsterdam courtyard :)
Music will serve once again in its key role to bring people/ communities together!
Organisation: And our names Robert van Opzeeland and Laurence Spaaij. We work for 'Je m'appelle Company' which is a group of 40 creatives that live and work together divided over different places in the world. We are in touch with many artist, we would like to help them to preform again.
