My Son's Artery Bypass Surgery

Friday, Sept. 19th, Pharaoh went back into the hospital for another surgery on his head to deal with the scar tissue and an infection that has been preventing his head from healing since July. This time a plastic surgeon was call in to assist. We hope that made the difference. Let's pray.
Tuesday, Sept. 2nd he went into the hospital to get surgery on his head because he was having headaches every single day preventing him from functioning normally. The headaches are a result of having brain surgery for the 13th time in 3 years.
Pharaoh Anthony Halley is 9 years old and has Hydrocephalus, Renovascular hypertension and Sickle cell anemia. He’s had surgery 29 times so far. In 2012 he had shunt (brain) surgery 11 times alone. He spent Thanksgiving of that year in the hospital.
Last month he had to be rushed to the hospital his 1st day of sleep away camp and had to get emergency shunt (brain) surgery again. With everything going on he still manages to keep smiling and could not wait to go back to camp.

In addition to his brain issue, on July 17th he was admitted to the hospital for the first step in Artery bypass surgery process. In a few months we have to travel from Atlanta to Michigan to do the conclusion of his Artery bypass surgery.
I'm sure you can understand that this process has been mentally, emotionally and financially draining. We are behind in so many bills and behind on life in general. I don't know how we will be able to make the journey and still maintain.
