HELLO EVERYONE, I AM MOLLY!
I used to be a stray living in Athens, Greece. One day I was hit by a car, but the driver never stopped to help me, and left me in the middle of the street!
Fortunately, a group of friends (including my, now, parents & uncles), who were at a nearby restaurant, heard the accident, came to me running and took me to the emergency!
My knee was completely broken, and both my hips were severely dislocated. After a few days, I had knee surgery and all the expenses were covered by this group of friends and StrayGr. Yes, I am kind of famous; they made a whole post about me!
MY RECOVERY
I stayed for about a month with my uncles, Alex & Dina, and their family, Duke (left) and Rubia (right) (my besties!) to recover. They took great care of me (some would say that I might took advantage of them and became a bit spoiled, but this is past history) and I always had company at my walks and home!
MY TRIP
Then I had a very long journey with a lot of preparation and paperwork, but once again I had help from Greek Animal Rescue (as I already said, I am kind of a big thing and everyone wants to help me)! I traveled through 8 countries, and when I finally stopped I saw Harris & Maria again! I realized a few days later that they adopted me and that this would be my forever home!
WHAT NOW?
As soon as I got here, they took me to the doctor (once again!), and now I need an extraordinary amount of money to have a surgery called total hip replacement! They told my parents that this operation costs 7000 pounds per hip in the UK, but for what I understood they don't have it!
Unfortunately, I also developed an issue on my operated leg; it is locked into extension and I cannot use it at all for the moment. My parents massage my leg many times per day and we also do stretching, so not everything is bad!
Nevertheless, as my doctor said, I need to have my hips fixed first, so no worries about my extended leg at the moment! I like massages anyway!
MY BIG SECRETS!
Except that I am impressively cute (everyone says it, not just my parents) and well-traveled at such a young age, I am also bilingual; I understand Greek and English, and I have some serious IT skills!
I can hear my parents talking daily for me with different doctors to find a solution for my hips and leg, but I am pretty confident that they gonna need a lot of help whoever they find; thus, I created this page for myself to show them my appreciation and try to make them happy as they made me!
This was my hideout while I was making this page! Now that I am done, I can finally reveal it! I still use it though; it can be cold up here in North!
