This is Jaxxon.
Jax was born on 12/3/2011. He is our 8 month old pitbull mix puppy. He is incredibly smart and has tons of energy.
Due to some unfortunate events, Jax (named after Jackson from Sons of Anarchy) was hit by a car going approx. 45 miles an hour.
Jax has 5 broken ribs, a partially collapsed lung and shattered his leg in two places. He needs surgery on his leg.
The estimated cost of all treatment and the surgery is $3,000. This is more money than I spent on the last car I bought. Jaxxon is a dear member of our family who cuddles with my 5 year old son, sleeps under the covers and loves bonfires and hiking.
We are doing everything we can in order to save Jax and allow him the opportunity to have a full recovery.
The emergency vet bills have started to come in and they are very financially overwhelming to our family. His surgery is going to cost $1,400-$2,000 depending on what is found when they get in there and look. There is also treatment costs due for $1,000 for things like blood tests, xrays, emergency fees for 2 different vets, etc.
We are trying to raise some funds to help save our puppy.
In the event that we raise more money than expected or the estimates for the surgery and amount due is smaller than originally expected the extra money raised will be donated to:
Tanasbourne Veterinary Emergency
2338 NW Amberbook
This is the hospital that we transported Jaxxon to from Hammond, OR in order to get care because the on-call vet in our area could not do anything for injuries of that extent. Dr. Thomas and the rest of the staff have been phenomenal in caring for our baby.
The economy is still tough out there. We know, or we wouldn't be asking for help. Even if you can't donate to Jaxxon's fund, please help us get the word out and share this page with your friends.
Thank you so much for your time,
