Saving Wesley From Death Row

Animal shelters in Ontario are at their capacity due to extremely high rates of animal surrenders. We recently saw Wesley. He has been at the shelter since April, and they cannot keep him much longer. Abandonded and maybe abused, he was found skin and bones like this:

He has gained his weight back, but there has been no interest in him. He was scheduled to be euthanized on Monday August 8th at 2pm. Wesley has made significant progress with the shelter trainer. He sits, knows "down", plays fetch and even walks perfectly on a leash without pulling. However, he still shows signs of aggressiveness to strangers. When we read about his story and his case, we saw potential. Not a death sentence.

Animal Care Zone needs to raise $3000 so Wesley can be put in a board and train facility for at least 30 days in Toronto. He will stay at this facility, and the trainers will spend time with him daily. Professional training is essential for his survival. Please help us secure these funds so Wesley can have his second chance.

After the 30 day boarding + training is done, another rescue has stepped up and will place him in a foster home and see him through adoption.
