Saving Smiling Brinks

We have some very sad news to share about a dog that has brought so much happiness to so many people. My amazing copilot Brinks—whom many of you know as SmilingBrinks from his viral photos and videos —has been diagnosed with a massive tumor in his spleen. We’ve had to do emergency, lifesaving surgery along with countless tests, treatments and 3 days in ICU that have unfortunately created a mountain of debt that is too much for us to take on alone.  There's still more work to be done with biopsies and follow up scans, etc.

Brinks and I are asking for your help, whether you can donate, share this fundraiser with your friends or simply say a little prayer for my best bud.


When he was rescued years ago off the streets of Brooklyn we knew right away how special he was—but had no idea how special he’d become for people all around the world. I want to thank all of you who’ve followed along on his journey so far, appreciating his message of love and happiness.
