Saving Shmi

We are not ones to ask for help from others but Shmi needs your help!

Our baby Shmi was diagnosed with the 100% fatal disease FIP,though with new experimental treatments FIP is no longer a death sentence. We have started Shmi on the treatment and as of today (10/6/20) she is on day 19 of her 12 week treatment. She was very touch and go for the first days of treatment. She has fluid in her belly,had a high fever,refused to eat and drink in her own etc. as of her 3rd day of treatment she has made vast improvements which means the treatment is working! She is now eating on her own,no fever,she is no longer lethargic,she is running through the house,playing with our other cats,getting excited for food and cuddles.  She is doing so well! Now all this being said this experimental treatment can not be purchased or obtained from our vet so it is fully out of pocket and is a very expensive treatment. We understand it is hard times for everyone but any donation big or small helps us save our baby! We also appreciate all prayers we can get as well as sharing our fundraiser.
