Saving Rodger
Donation protected
My big boy, Rodger, swallowed some sort of foreign object and is going in for surgery tomorrow morning. Rodger has been a constant source of support throughout one of the hardest years of my life. He is, in essence, an emotional support dog and has help me through many a bipolar episode. He is there in the good times and the bad times, when he makes sure to curl up extra close.
Getting him through surgery is going to cost upwards of $5,000. I'm already $1,200 deep and that's before surgery has even happened. I hate to admit it, but it has been a really really difficult year for me financially, especially having been hospitalized three times during severe bipolar episodes. I am currently in outpatient treatment after being in the hospital just last week. It's been a real struggle and it just seems like life isn't fair. I can't imagine life without my best friend.
