Pudge's Heart Surgery
Donation protected
Hi everyone
We are two college students who got a 10 week old puppy corgi. He's the most adorable butterball in the world. He's mellow and playful and loves to eat when his heart isnt bothering him. We went for a vet check -up and discovered he has a genetic defect called patent ductus arteriosus. Basically there was a shunt in his heart that was suppose to close in the womb, but it didn't which doubles half of his heart size and increases heartdisease and failure. The estimated percentage of survival after 1 year of age is 50%. This isn't a chance we are willing to even consider. We love Pudge so much and can't bear this burden ourselves. We refuse to take him back to the breeder because we know he is as happy with us as we are with him. We've given him a home with lots of attention and we hope we can give him so much more in his life. We'd appreciate it so much if you could donate to our sons surgery so he can live out the happy life he deserves to have.
