Saving our rescue Barn

My main focus is the animals and what is best for them with that being said We raised the money and put up this barn up to house our rescue animals we never laid a foundation it was put up more as a temporary so if we ever moved and or expanded our rescue the barn would go with us so we never thought to get a permit.
Well guess what someone decided to complain and call county I’m not sure why.. did I make someone mad? Do they hate animals? Do they hate the barn that bad?
Now we are trying to get ahead of this and get the permit and of course that means money, money we don’t have, money that should be spent on our rescue animals. I’m so bummed right now. We could really use the help with the funding. We are a recognized 501c3 all donations are tax deductible. We appreciate every penny donated. Thank you Everyone xo
