Kayla is a natural-born giver, mother of two young girls, wife, volunteer, and kindergarten paraprofessional at Wichita Friends School. She is fighting for her life in her 4th battle with cancer.
Doctors recommend a double mastectomy BEFORE the end of October 2020 to avoid cancer moving to stage 4 and spreading to the other breast.
Insurance will cover the removal of one breast but not the other. Even after using all of their savings, it would not be enough to cover the out-of-pocket cost; they would still be $11,000 short.
We, as her friends and fellow teachers, urgently want to save Kayla’s life. Please help us. Thank you.
