Four of us students at GCU were approached by a homeless man at a gas station in Phoenix who had a little puppy attached to a shoe string tied around its neck. He explained that he couldn't afford to take care of the little pup and wanted her to have a good home. When we asked how much, he was quick to say that $30 would do. After thinking about it for a minute we decided that $30 to get the puppy in a better place is the least we could do. After taking her to a vet we discovered she has a lot of ticks in her ears along with parasites and major dehydration. Without knowing the background of this cute puppy we decided to take a few action steps into making her life happy and healthy.In college it is hard to pay for the medical attention she needs but in desire to love her and make her a healthy puppy we got everything she needs and will continue to do so with hopes that she will begin to recover slowly. We have taken her in and are hoping for some help to help give this little puppy a better life. Hopefully soon she will be running around campus making friends with everybody.
