Hello everyone. My name is Erin Robey. I own and operate the Boone Theater in Boone, IA.
We have recently fell under dire need for some repairs. Our main concern is our roof. The roof directly over the projector system has sprung a major leak, and the theater (seating area) has some leaking as well. I do not currently have the funds for any major long term repairs, so I am asking for help.
We are also finding ourselves in need of some plumbing repairs, but nothing major at the moment. However, if not repaired soon, it may get worse.
I turn to the public in this time of need. I have never asked for help like this before, so please bear with me. I don't know how much repairs could cost, so I am starting with a smaller amount of $5000.
I am hoping we will be able to remain open, as I love this business, and my wonderful customers. I fear if the roof is not fixed, our equipment will be damaged beyond repair, and we will have to close permanently. Please help me avoid this happening.
