Dear friends and family,
As some of you might know Shelly was diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma (lung cancer) that has metastasized to her pelvis and brain. This type and stage of cancer does not respond well to standard treatments like chemotherapy and usually has less than a 2% success rate. With that in mind and her allowable radiation treatments done, we are looking at alternative treatments. The Gerson Therapy specifically. The Gerson Therapy is a natural alternative treatment that activates the bodies’ extraordinary ability to heal itself through an organic plant based diet including raw juices and natural supplements. Although our insurance has covered many of the medical expenses thus far, it will not cover any of the expenses and things needed for this alternative therapy. Shelly is the most kind, loving, and selfless person you could ever hope to know. Mother of Terry, Javin, Cain and wife to Bill, we all want the best for her and for her to get better but we need your help. First and foremost we are asking for your help through thoughts and prayer. Every bit of positive energy helps and is appreciated, but any contribution made will help provide a multitude of necessary therapies including a three week initial treatment at the Gerson Clinic, a two year supply of natural supplements, a two year supply of organic food needed to maintain the regimen, as well as misc. expenses like an electric wheel chair, juicers, flights, etc. We have been so humbled by the love and outpouring of hope we have recieved so far and we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support.
