Urgent help for 5 starving dogs

The haunting photos were sent out and a plea for help was made. Even though there is no space and even though there is no money, there is no way to unsee the images.
They were stuck in our minds and so Brischa & Grace went to see what they would find in Colonia Las Bougainvilleas where the pups were living.
3 of the 5 dogs were there. The pictures didn’t lie. These pups were in dire need of help.
The other two were presumed dead – they were the ones in the worse shape from the original photos and weren’t found.
LADRA (Las Animas Dog Rescue Association) and MexPup agreed to take this on together. Neither group has funds to take it on. Neither group has any foster space. We were both already stretched to the brink, but after seeing a dog in this condition, you can’t walk away.
Patch, Freya & Sunny were taken into care and although quite thin and in great need, their prognosis is ok. Then, Sunday night, we got the amazing phone call that the other two pups were found and they were still alive (although barely). Vinnie & Leo were picked up in extremely rough shape.
Vinnie cannot stand on his own & Leo is also quite weak. They are both at the vets getting IV fluids, medications, nutrients and all that they need with the hopes of being saved. We are desperate and we need your help. These 5 pups are about 8 months old and they deserve a chance.
We need help with medical costs and with boarding costs. We could use assistance with foster homes in Puerto Vallarta for these pups or even in BC (if we can send some dogs to BC that are healthy but not adopted, that could open space in a PV foster home).
We need the support of the MexPup and the LADRA communities to make the difference for these pups. We promised Patch, Freya, Sunny, Vinnie and Leo that they were no longer alone and that many people would be coming together to support them. Please help make the difference for these pups.
