FP YouthOutCry has been primarily supported by individual and major donors over our 11 years in existence. Community leaders have seen the impact of our work and have contributed funding to build The HUBB, and to cover modest general operating costs.
The HUBB uses arts education and mentorship to increase student empowerment for community youth.
Accessing FP YouthOutCry is as simple as walking through the friendly doors of The HUBB. But becoming a part of FP Programs means much more than visiting a great space. Our programs are built on the pedagogical foundation of mentorship in which every client we serve experiences the attention and guidance of a responsible adult mentor volunteer.
FP Mentors meet the clients where they are, use the state-of-the-art tools of the entertainment industry to offer healing, and draw each client toward empowerment and their own vision of success.
With this Plea for Support, we look for support from private donors to assist in purchasing food and materials needed for The HUBB STARS After School Program, and to fund the staffing costs for tutors, insurances and management throughout the rest of the school year based on 25 youth from the age of 8 to 15.
A Violence Reduction and Grade Improvement Extended Day Initiative (7:30pm until Dismissal) We pledge to keep our youth safe at The H.U.B.B. and send them home ready for bath, bed and beyond…helping our youth dream again. Internship and volunteer opportunities are available at the Village that Helps Us Become Better.
FP Makes a Commitment to Financial Stability and Community Impact
FP YouthOutCry has been thrilled to open The HUBB and to witness its impact every day when young people access the tools of the entertainment industry, build a solid educational foundation, make connections to caring mentors, and ultimately gain empowerment to make positive change in their own lives and in the community.
