Surgery for Nalu, my best friend

Nalu, my beloved Pointer Lab mix who was rescued in Maui as a puppy, went to the vet on Labor Day because he wouldn't stop drinking water. After a blood test and urinalysis, they said his calcium was dangerously high and to get him to the UF Vetrinary Hospital ASAP, before his kidneys fail. I got him there that evening, where he stayed while they evaluated and diagnosed him with hypercalcaemia. After an ultrasound and CT we now know he has two large tumors on lymph nodes in his abdomen, and a smaller one on his rectum. It is metastatic anal sac adenocarcinoma.
The oncologist recommends three courses of treatment. As much as I want to do everything possible to prolong his life, I will be grateful if I can raise enough just to do the most important course, which is surgery. I've already spent $2,900 for the tests, imaging, and hospital stay, but I need help to raise the rest.
In the aftermath of Harvey and Irma, there are so many worthy causes that need our assistance. So, I am hoping to primarily raise funds for Nalu by offering pet photography services to my friends and local community - I want everyone who helps me to have beautiful memories of their own pets that will last a lifetime. I am creating this gofundme campaign as a means for those people who cannot purchase a photo package, but still want to contribute a small amount to help save Nalu. It will also serve as a method of payment to track the overall funds raised and allow pet owners to pay for sessions with the payment card of their choice.
My hope is to book enough sessions to pay for his treatment - if you are in the Orlando area or know people there, I hope you will share this campaign with your network so I can reach the number of sessions necessary to reach my goal.
