Hubert's Eye Surgery

Hello,
My name is Hubert. I am a year and a half, I love chewing on tennis balls and sometimes fetching them, and I love to chase my tail! I named myself after watching my very first Futurama episode and good news everyone I loved it! Below is some of my story and I'll see you all at the dog park!

A year and a half ago I rescued Hubert, a four week old puppy. He was covered in fleas and mange, and hadn't been weaned from his mother. I wasn't planning on bringing another dog into my home, but I knew he needed help. For the first few weeks he had to sleep on a heating pad to stay warm. We had constant vet visits to make sure he was getting all the care he needed. With the help of my friends and family, and the maternal instinct of my older dog Sam, Hubert recovered and quickly grew into the lovable and goofy dog he is today.
Unfortunately, Hubert has developed mature cataracts in both of his eyes and as of right now is partially blind. If he does not have surgery he will eventually be fully blind and possibly develop other problems with his eyes. He is a lovable pup that just wants to play and I am hoping to be able to get the surgery so that he can have a long fulfilling life.
Any and all money donated will go towards the surgery for both of his eyes as well as the medicines he will need following surgery. Anyone that donates will be able to follow along with Hubert's surgeries, progress, and will receive videos and pictures of his antics as he recovers. Any donations that go beyond the $5000 will be donated to the Franklin County Dog Shelter
