Save Cierra's Smile
The life of a teenage is tough, especially today. But could you imagine how tough life would be with medical issues in addition to the normal stresses?
My Daughter Cierra is 16 and has two types of conditions she had Ectodermal Dysplasia and Type 1 Diabetes. The Ectodermal Dyplasia caused her to be missing 14 permanent teeth and the enamel is affected on the other teeth. The two conditions caused the total failure of the majority of her teeth. She is required to get tooth replacement proceedures.
We are fighting the medical insurance for coverage of the removal and replacement of her teeth but they have not been responsive. She is having difficulty controlling her blood sugar as it is gets more difficult to eat. Any help would be greatly appropriated for funding research and restorative work. She is only like 1 in 6 people in the world that have these two conditions concurrently.
