Lifesaving surgery 4 Mētztli & stability for pack
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Mētztli Wolf and I'm fundraising to keep Black Moon Wolfdog Sanctuary afloat while I seek life-saving surgery.
I’m the founder of our 501c3 nonprofit organization and am in urgent need of a parathyroidectomy because I’ve recently been diagnosed with normocalcemic-primary hyperparathyroidism. My disease has reduced my ability and I’m not often able to work anymore.
The good news is:
Hyperparathyroidism is 100% curable.
However, surgery is the only cure.
Due to the rareness of this disease, not every surgeon is literate in diagnosis or treatment.
Which has led us to seeking out the best surgeon in Hollywood, CA. Dr Larian has a 97% success rate for parathyroidectomy and is considered a worldwide parathyroid expert.
I recently updated our goal to include an additional $8,888 to get us through this process.
This goal is approximate, but hopefully will allow me to heal and return to life physically better and more capable than I’ve ever been.
At Black Moon we rescue wolfdogs in need of quality care and sanctuary from colonial persecution/death. As the current historic economic downturn has presented financial challenges to many nationwide, wolfdogs face the losing end of the fallout from late-stage capitalism. Many responsible owners are forced to surrender their wolfdog family members to make ends meet. Our mission is to live in demonstration of coexistence with predators, raise awareness, and advocate for wolves and wolfdogs.
Please see updates for how funds will be used.
Your donations are tax-deductible.
