I’m Natalia Torrelio, soon to be Dozier-Torrelio, and my fiancée Stacey (the one who runs this page) has asked me to tell the story of why we’re starting this fundraiser. The story of a couple and their abuser.

For many years, Stacey has been in an abusive poly relationship with a woman who took advantage of her kindness; let’s call her “Heidi.” Not only did Heidi hit her and throw objects at her, but she also bled her bank account  dry. She owes ~$43K in back rent, as well as $360K in retirement. Stacey literally can’t retire now.

And when I entered,  things became worse. Beatings rose in frequency and even happened while she slept. Stacey currently has a black eye, and this is not the first one I have seen on her, along with numerous bruises  elsewhere on her body. Plus, Heidi turned her poison onto me, of course . She has trivialized my feelings on few occasions, and another of her partners even threatened to use physical violence on me. She has threatened to compromise our privacy, saying things like “I could hack any of your phones/computers.” And worst of all, she has come up to me numerous times and attempted to break me and Stacey up. 

But Stacey will never lose me, and Heidi will never win against us. We are escaping this situation and moving to another city, and we need your help urgently. Every dollar helps, but the faster we make our goal, the safer we are.
