In Kyosei Foundation we are trying to close these gaps. We are a non-profit organization that provides free and quality education to vulnerable children in Arusha, Tanzania.

In Kyosei Foundation we are trying to close these gaps. We are a non-profit organization that provides free and quality education to vulnerable children in Arusha, Tanzania.
In 2019 we started the exciting project of building a new school for pre-primary, primary and secondary education. But today we are facing a big and critical challenge, that's why we are asking for your help today.
But let us introduce the project briefly….
What is the purpose of the campaign?
Raise 1315€ to pay the registration fee of the School in the authorities of Tanzania before the 30th of September.
Find below the cost split in TZS (local currency) and EUR:
- Blueprints of the School: In order to present the document to the authorities we need to hire a professional local architect to draw the blueprints. AMOUNT: 1.500.000 TZS / 548 €
- Taxes: In Tanzania, you need to pay a tax (1.500 TZS) for each constructed m2. The School has 1.400. AMOUNT: 2.100.000 TZS / 767€
TOTAL COST: 3.600.000 TZS / 1315€
Why is it important to raise the funds?
- Keep providing free education now and in the years to come: The school is providing free pre-primary education to 62 kids from 4-6 years old, and there is a high risk they will drop school without Kyosei. We are planning to open 1 new classroom in January to start the primary education.
- Avoid demolition: Due to recent changes in the country law, Kyosei Foundation has to pay before the 30th of september the amount of 1315€ in order to register the School in the official authorities. If payment is not made on time, the local authorities will demolish the new building and make us pay penalties, ending Kyosei's Foundation project.
- Investment and hard work will be for nothing: Kyosei Foundation started the construction in 2019. Plenty of hard work and funds have been invested in order to build a brighter future for the kids of Arusha. It will all have been for nothing if the school is demolished.
Why do we need to raise the funds before the 30th of september?
Local authorities communicated that we are delayed on the payment, if Kyosei Foundation doesn’t deposit the amount of 1315€ before the 30th of September the building will be demolished.
We need your help to raise these funds in order to keep Kyosei’s dream of building a brighter future for more than 350 students. Any donation, small or big, will be helpful.
