Meet Tango! Tango is a retired service K-9 who served for several years with some of the nations most elite special operations units. After his retirement, Tang transitioned to becoming loyal family dog who continues to serve his community by visiting the local VA and VFW to enrich the bonds between Vets.
Unfortunately, Tango has been diagnosed with a debilitating case of Canine Hip Dysplasia and may lose his ability to walk. Tango endured the rigors of multiple deployments as a service dog, and now his body is paying the consequences. His treatment requires a total hip replacement. Through the intervention of surgery and physical therapy, we can ensure Tango continues to live a free and fulfilled life!
We are asking for your small donation to support Tango, and his lifelong service to this nation! The cost estimates of surgery of and rehabilitation are around $8,000. With your help we hope to get Tango into surgery before the end of the month (July) and back on his feet soon after!
