Please help Simon and Padme get home to the UK!

Donation protected
My brother called this afternoon to tell me that Sunan had died.

My sister-in-law died today. We are heartbroken. Simon has lost his beloved wife, and Padme has lost her mum. She is 11 at the end of this month, and her mother won't be here to share that birthday with her, or any more birthdays.

The focus of this campaign is now to keep Simon and Padme afloat until they get all the paperwork etc. sorted out and can come home.

Simon has no job - his employers terminated his contract because he took two weeks off in September to care for Sunan. So there is no money come into the house and they have nothing to live on. This means they have literally no money for food, rent, bills, any of the simple things in life. They are in desperate need!

It is going to cost several thousand in order for them to stay there while they get things sorted, and then it's over £1,000 to fly them home.

We desperately need your help, and that of as many others as you and I can reach with this campaign. Please share it far and wide.

Thank you.

Please help Sunan Mills fight her cancer

I am desperately trying to raise funds to help my brother, his wife and their daughter.

My brother is married to the lovely Sunan Mills and has been for 15 years. They live in Thailand. Their daughter Padme, is 10 years old. This is a picture from a while back, but you can see how healthy my sister-in-law looks there.

She has recently been very sick and in hospital. She has been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in her bowel. This is how sick she currently looks.

These were taken at the hospital just a few days ago.

My brother works as an online English teacher in Thailand and only gets paid when he works. He has been unable to work has he has been taking care of his wife and daughter. They do not have any savings and at the moment, he is struggling to feed them as he cannot work.

Sunan had an operation yesterday to fit her with a colostomy bag and she is due to start chemotherapy in 6 days time. Unfortunately, the hospital where she will have the chemotherapy is in the next province and requires significant travelling time.

She is terrifyingly thin and the doctor has told my brother that he fears she is unlikely to survive it. At the moment, she is trying to put weight on to give her a greater chance of getting through the chemo. But my brother has been told he should prepare for the worst, but that miracles can happen.

At this present time, they haven't told my niece how serious it is, and she has shut down and is finding it very difficult to talk to my brother at all.

This is the ward she is currently on. There is no privacy and my brother is having to provide basic nursing care (which includes emptying her colostomy bag) for Sunan due to a lack of nurses. Although they live in a relatively large town, the hospital facilities are basic.

They have no family support and were hoping to move back to the UK this year to be closer to me, before Sunan became ill.

I am thousands of miles away, and am disabled and cannot get out there to them. I also only have my disability benefits to live on, which is certainly not enough to be able to provide for them, which is why I am begging for help.

I'm so worried for them all.

This appeal is desperately urgent as my brother is currently barely able to feed his daughter as they have no money. Aside from that, he will have no money to be with his wife when she goes for her chemotherapy treatment. And cannot afford to pay the rent on their home.

If you donate to this cause, you will be putting food in my niece's mouth, keeping a roof over her head, and enabling my brother to spend time with her and his wife at this terrible time.
