Save St. Frances of Rome School

Greetings to our beloved community,

St. Frances of Rome School, in Cicero, has been a treasured beacon of learning, growth, and family for the past 100 years. But we stand on the cusp of our centennial celebration, we were confronted with the heart breaking news that our cherished institution is facing closure.

Yet, in the face of adversity, our teachers and staff have valiantly risen to the occasion, pledging to maintain the high educational standards we are known for, prioritizing our students' future, even amidst this crisis.

We are the Rivera Family. My Name is Nancy, Advancement Director at SFR School. My husband Wil, is the Chair person of the Parish Finance Board. Christian, Class of '11, is a part time substitute teacher at SFR. Clarissa, Class of '13, is the current SFR art teacher. We were heartbroken by the abrupt school closing news we received last week. We all have chosen to do everything in our power to help keep the school alive.

In order for the school to survive and thrive, we are turning to our community - our past, present and potential students, our teachers and staff, parents, neighbors, and everyone who has felt the impact of St. Frances of Rome School in some way - to help us keep our school alive. We've started this GoFundMe page to seek your support.
