Save Ricky's Life

To All:

Ricky is a kind and loving son; brother; cousin; friend; and most importantly - single Dad, who is in desperate need of some intense medical and therapeutic treatment. He has been fighting a battle with schizophrenia, anxiety, and severe depression for years - on top of having a traumatic brain injury from a car accident when he was younger. He has worked with many doctors trying to get his medication right and, thus far, has been unsuccessful. He has been in and out of different hospitals, but all they can do is hold him for 72 hours which is not going to fix the problem. Through the past few months the light at the end of the tunnel has disappeared for him. With his recent attempt to end his life, the hope all of his loved ones has been ripped away as well. It has become quite clear to all that know Ricky, that we will lose him if he does not receive this medical treatment. Please please please help us help him. With your help he will be able to get him admitted to The Center a Place For Hope and get the care he needs. All of the proceeds will go towards Ricky's treatment.

Dear All,
My son, Ricky, is back in the hospital. He was transferred from Mercy to Rogue Mental health. Sadly, he has attempted our worst fears - was unsuccessful and unharmed physically. He has basically given up hope.
My daughter, Jeannie, has investigated therapeutic facilities for those with depression, PTSD, as well as other conditions. We are scared and want true help because the facilities in Oregon are just holding tanks, they aren't doing anything to provide him the care and treatment that he needs/deserves/requires. One facility that was found is very close to us, Washington State (The Center a Place of Hope) and is listed in the top 10 facilities in the Nation; please check it out on line. I have talked to the staff and if he is accepted the cost for 30 days is $30,000 dollars (ave), the admission personnell stated once he was evaluated a custom plan would be made and a complete cost would be done at that time, we were also told that not all meals are provided and they would have chances to "eat out".
Unfortunately, I do not have this kind of money -  We are planning to setup a donation center and with your help  Ricky could possibly resume a healthful, peaceful life and be there for Talia. We want his quality of life to be positive- not sad and laying on the couch most of the day or feeling hopeless and giving up all together. My heart is breaking for him, but mostly for Talia; we appreciate any and all support!!
