HELP Save Just Oxtails Soul Food Restaurant

Growing up, my dream was always to own a successful restaurant. On December 9, 2002, my dream came true. With God’s blessing, hard work, and determination, my wife, Carrie, and I, opened Just Oxtails Soul Food. We met in 9th grade homeroom 38 years ago. She has been the perfect partner and the backbone of the business. It’s been nearly 18 years in business together and we’ve never missed a day.
Just Oxtails Soul Food is a staple in our community. Over time we’ve been able to build a loyal customer base, a haven for employment and social gathering, and a successful business we hope to one day turn over to our children. But because Covid-19, (Coronavirus) is impacting all of our lives, we stand to lose the restaurant we’ve worked so hard for.
On March 24, 2020, we closed our doors in order to help slow the spread of the virus, and because of the general health concerns. In doing so, we have been negatively affected, economically and financially. For the first time in the history of Just Oxtails Soul Food we have no money coming in to pay our company bills. We need help.
We are asking for donations of any amount to help us pay our ongoing bills. Bills include: mortgage, insurance, utilities, etc. and to re-open Just Oxtails Soul Food when the time comes.
