Save Our Trees and Public Green Space
Donation protected
We are fundraising to help protect healthy urban trees from being felled by Ripon Cathedral.
The Cathedral want to fell 11 healthy urban trees, including 1 veteran beech tree, approximately 200 years old, in order to build an £8million annex on publicly owned land.
After gaining national news attention, local campaigners are now seeking to bring legal pressure and legal action to protect this conservation area and to save the trees.
All funds raised here will go towards legal fees to protect this site, in the event that this will be necessary. If not needed, the monies raised will be donated to the Woodland Trust, so that protecting nature can continue around the country.
