Jager needs your help..Save his life please!

I am trying to hire an attorney to file an appellate brief with the Indiana Supreme Court to stop them from putting down my beloved boxer Jager.

It has been a difficult struggle. The first judge decided Kinley’s injuries were from a dog bite even after the 2 treating doctors at the hospital and gave her stitches said it was a bad scratch from a dogs paw. The other judge who heard the case agreed with the earlier judge, in the law in question which provides that a “dangerous dog” is a dog that injures someone in an “unprovoked attack”. 

This was not an attack but an accident that happened by Jager jumping up from a deep sleep after being stepped on and accidentally scratching Kinley’s face.  

I have had to use the money raised so far on not only legal fees but I have been charged boarding fees to have Jager kept in “jail” while I have been trying to save his life.

I am trying to find another attorney to take our case to the Indiana Supreme Court and the attorney is requiring a large retainer. I only have 3 more weeks to appeal our case. 

I desperately want to save my dog who I have loved for his entire life. My granddaugher loves Jager and has been asking for him to come home. Thank you for your kindness

Original start: Our boy was stepped on by my 4yr old and he reactively jumped on her gashing her face with his nails.  She had surgery and is healing well.   Animal control has filed a petition to take him and destroy him. Only after I told him I wanted to reclaim him and not putting him down.  He lied and told me it was fine and I could pick him up on the 9th   Since he lied he left me no time to get dr report or lawyer.  I have found a lawyer for $1000 and need to pay him ASAP so he can file a continuous in court.  I love my dog and my girl asks every day to see him and bring him home.  PLEASE help me save my boy! I know I can win with a lawyer by my side!!
