Help Mike save Nepal's wildlife

Tax deductible

I need your help.
In the next 6-weeks, we need to raise $9500 to help protect Nepal's first National Park.

This November, 15 people and I are heading to Nepal with the nonprofit organization, Rally for Rangers.  Our mission is to protect the world’s special places by empowering rangers around the globe with new motorcycles and equipment.

Our trip to Nepal will protect the Chitwan National Park which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.  Many parks around the globe are in constant threat from poaching, illegal mining, development, and illicit drug trade — which devastates landscapes.  Often the only thing between the permanent loss of this natural and cultural heritage is a sole park ranger.  All too often that ranger is ill-equipped to protect against those threats and Rally for Rangers is changing that.

The funds we raise will go to purchasing new Yamaha dual-sport motorcycles and equipment, which we’ll ride to deliver to the rangers in need. The motorcycles will allow the rangers to cover larger and denser areas of the park to protect over 700 animal species from poachers and illegal smugglers.

Last year, I was fortunate to participate in a Rally for Rangers trip to Mongolia. Our journey across the country was spectacular and the motorcycle-riding was epic but it pales in comparison to the people we met and the lives that were changed when we delivered motorcycles to the rangers of Altai Tavan Bogd National Park.  The 13 rangers no longer have to patrol their park  — which is 5x the size of Yosemite — by foot or horseback.

Every donation will go a long way and I understand there are tons of organizations, missions, and nonprofits asking for your money. I truly thank you for donating to this cause and helping Park Rangers do a dangerous job more effectively and efficiently.

Together we can protect the World’s most beautiful places for future generations! Thank you for making this possible!
