Monica Johnston loved her jeep, named Tequila Sunrise, and put her ALL into keeping it. The 1 vacation she'd taken in the last 10 years was on a jeep club trip to the beach. She put blood, sweat, and tears into her jeep.
Now that she's gone, we, all of her friends, family, & any other good samaritans, need to help her son Gage hang on to something she dearly LOVED; and it so happens to be the ONLY thing he has of hers as she had very few material items. This is NOT because Gage needs a vehicle; he has a car that is paid for. It's actually going to be much harder and require a ton of long term responsibility on his part to keep Tequila Sunrise.
The sentimental value is priceless, however she owed $24,890. Each month will cost Gage $637 to keep it between the payments and full coverage. He's currently looking for full time work, but presently he is working at Best Buy. While grieving the loss of his mother, he realized it was devastating to think about losing the 1 thing she loved so so much. The $4,000 is to help buy him some time and payments so he can mourn his loss while not having to break his neck trying to make payments that he can not just yet afford.
I am begging, anyone who loved Monica knows how much she loved her Jeep and loved her son. Let's help these two things that she cared so much about stay where they should, together. Anyone who has lost their last surviving parent can understand how lost and alone Gage may feel at this point... Let's show him that he and his mother were and are loved and have a lot of support.
