Save Miss Brown
Dear community,
Some of you are aware and familiar of the tale that has been unfolding on social media, TV and radio about a 19 month old Maremma pup
called Miss Brown.
Miss Brown and her sister escaped their new owners home in Hazelbrook (Blue Mountains) in April of this year. Miss Browns sister was caught on the night of escaping and was collected by her Breeder and taken home to the farm a few days later. Miss Brown has been on the run ever since...
For four nearly five very long months, the breeders Carol & Steve & countless volunteers have followed Miss Brown in attempt to ensure she has a full belly and ultimately catch her. The breeders live in Kangaroo Valley.
Miss Brown was born & raised on a farm as a protector of animals. Miss Brown has had minimal human interaction, so is unsure of people other than her breeders.
Many attempts have been made to bring Miss Brown home, but so far to no avail. (There have been some very close attempts) We are finding that the longer she is on the run the more skiddish & scared she is becoming...
As Miss Brown has been on the run for so long, we have asked professionals trackers, trappers, vets & darters to help in her capture. These services are very costly and ongoing until her capture.
Miss Brown is a very fit young dog and will travel great distances when scared, thus why she is continuing to move further west & further away from her breeders home...
Miss Brown is a remarkable dog. She has somehow amazingly managed to survive aerial bating areas, traffic, storms, freezing temps & snow...
Please, let’s work together & get this girl home safe & as soon as possible. Your support is greatly appreciated.
