Help NOW Beirut live music lounge
On August 4th a huge explosion at Beirut Port resulted in more than 200 deaths, and massive destruction reaching areas as far as 20KM from the port.
As a result, NOW Beirut was impacted from the destruction leaving us without windows, doors, lighting, furniture as well as some of the electronics and kitchen appliances.
Lebanon was already suffering from an economic crisis that deprived the people of Lebanon from using their money deposited at banks, and not to mention the worldwide COVID 19 pandemic and its effect on the economy! The destruction caused by the Port explosion is estimated at 10-15billion USD and the government is in no shape of supporting any of the local businesses. At the same time insurance companies have yet to decide whether they will be able to cover insured businesses or not.
Resilience is in our blood and we have faced previous hurdles which we overcame, but this time it is different and critical. It is not just us, but the whole country that is struggling to rise again.
Help us raise money to keep the Lebanese live music scene alive, allowing NOW Beirut to host local bands from all genres once again!
