Help ESA Letty the Pitbull Pup Live

Meet Letty the Pitbull. She is my precocious brindle and white, barely 11 month old female American Pitbull Terrier puppy. Rescued her when barely 6 weeks old and quickly was accepted and made a permanent member of our family. Peyton, my 4 year old daughter, makes it clear Letty is her puppy to all she meets with her. Letty is actually my Emotional Support Animal and helped me through a very hard time I'm my life. We both grieved losing Tiger, a senior brindle male pitbull mix that passed of old age just 2 months ago. Now Letty is facing her own battle to live. The last couple of days, Letty was not her usual, happy, playful self. She stopped eating and drinking water, even had no interest in treats or table food which was very alarming to me for Letty lives for food. Letty is all muscle at her petite 48lbs frame. Levittown Vetrinary Hospital vet rushed her in for exam right away. Upon examination, Letty vomited. Biggest concern was her pale white gums, tongue, skin around eyes, and even her ear skin. Her heart rate and pulse in legs revealed trouble circulating blood. There was no doubt Letty was very anemic. Bigger concern is what is causing the anemia. Since Letty is so young, many possible causes are very grim. It could be osteocircoma, which would be a death sentence sadly. Maybe a different cancer. It could be her spleen. Or even her immune system attacking itself which would be best scenario since can be controlled with medication. Regardless, Letty needs to go to an ER vet hospital to do blood transfusions and run tests on her blood as well as chest x-rays, and give her supportive care she needs to give her best chance of survival. V-SEC hospital in Bristol, PA is able to do all of this. Problem is the costs. Just as I found with my own battle with kidney disease and Hodgkins Lymphoma, life saving care is not cheap. The prediction of costs could be $2000 upwards to over $7000. Blood transfusions alone can be around $1000. My heart says yes, let's do whatever it takes to give Letty the best chance of living a long life. Economically, this is well beyond what I can afford. Vet made it clear, time is of the essence and sooner she goes to ER at V-SEC, the better her chances are of survival. I must beg of all of you reading this, to please donate and help Letty get better. She is like one of my own children and I cannot even think of her not being around for her 1 year birthday. Letty is so sweet and everyone who meets her falls in love with her. Letty has a beautiful smile and generous with kisses. Her tail wags can be dangerous with enthusiasm of meeting new people and dogs (she loves all living things, even rabbits and cats). Letty looks tough, but she is a short, stocky, lovely lovebug that is so loyal to her people. Much like her namesake in the Fast and Furious movies. Any donations big or small are appreciated. Please share with friends. My family and Letty thank you so much.
