https://www.facebook.com/kangaroovalleypasturedeggs/videos/1021687868188194/ Last Saturday December 21st, 2019 was a horrific day weather wise and one of our most precious local primary Industry businesses, Kangaroo Valley pastured Eggs, lost over 2500 chickens due to the stifling heat. This wonderful small rural business is owned and run by Mark and Kristen McLennan with their two young daughters. Kristen and Mark had a number of great measures in place to cope with the heat, but the unprecedented temperatures of 46-48°C was just too much for their wonderful chooks to bare. Not only have Mark and Kristen lost the chickens and their value, but also the ability to earn the income they should be receiving for the coming 4-5 months, as it will take until April 2020 before they can get enough replacement chickens back in place and into production. So, if you could please find it in your hearts to help them get through this very hard period to not only replace the chickens but also keep the ship afloat, so to speak, it would be great be appreciated. Many Thanks, Frank
