I am months behind on my rent because of an unexpected layoff in August 2017. I made a financial mistake by taking out a cash loan to make a rent payment and instead of having money to make future rent payments, it all went to pay that loan back, which got me further behind. NEVER TAKE OUT A CASH ADVANCE LOAN.  My landlord is a nice man, and he's been working with me. I work all the time, but can never seem to catch up. I want to pay it off as much as possible. I just got a sweet job through my staffing agency, and after only 2 shifts, the company ended several employees' assignments  and after telling my landlord that I just got a great job and can start making bigger payments, I had to tell him the job ended, which resulted in him demanding a significant payment followed by subsequent significant payments, or else  he is going to evict me and my two sweet cats, Mo and Wee Bit. Please help us get out of this overwhelming debt. I work hard. I'm a veteran of the U. S. Army. I try to give to others when I can, and now  I'm asking for help because I really need it. Thank you to everyone who sees it in their heart to help us out! 
Specifics: I owe $3,200, but a friend suggested setting a goal of $5,000 so I have something  while I'm looking for reliable work. I settled on $4, 000.
