Please help bring this valued 30 year theatre institution back from the brink of collapse! We are campaigning to raise 100K by November 15th!
Freehold Theatre, based in Chinatown/ID, has run into severe financial trouble. The combination of cost overruns on the renovations of our new space, and a burst pipe under our building which flooded our offices and forced us to run classes in rental spaces all over town has made our current day-to-day operations unsustainable. We need to reach out for help to pay down our debts now in order to survive.
Thankfully, many have already shown their support. The Freehold Board decided to run the first half of this campaign as a pledge drive. That pledge drive, which began on July 22nd with a Board commitment of 25K and the Board Letter to our community, exceeded it's goal of 50K in 36 hours!
Please join them, and help restore Freehold to a position of financial security that will allow us to continue our work many years to come! Your support will help us maintain the meaningful work we do, both in prisons, with the Engaged Theatre program, and with individuals of all skill levels in our Studio classes.
And please, spread the word about this campaign!
