Please Help Save Eric's Home

In 2016, I lost my son, Sean to an illness which took him from us in 3 days. To say that I was devastated would be a tremendous understatement. One day, he and I were out taking pictures, laughing, and joking and in the wink of an eye he was gone. I miss him terribly. 

The last two years have been dreadful. While descending into ever deeper depression I've lost my job, many friends, and sometimes I feared my mind, too.  Over the last month I have been seeking comprehensive mental health services including psychiatric, psychological, and group counselling. 
 
I am now climbing out of depression little by little, but a need looms over me. I owe $3,000.00 dollars in back property taxes that if not paid will result in my home being sold at sheriff's auction, June 1. I would be rendered HOMELESS! Because I own my home outright, there is no cheaper alternative place for me to live.

I have lived here for 29 years. The house can't be sold because it needs a new roof, siding and has water damage inside. All that taken into account, I love my home and it is where Sean and his brother Colin grew up. I'm looking to you, my friends, and even compassionate strangers to help me raise the $3,000.00 by June 1, so I can stay in my home.
