Save Dr Mohamed & his family from the war in gaza

hello , I'm Ali a Palestinian from Gaza living in Germany and I'm organising this fundraiser on behalf of my childhood friend Mohamed and his family in order to rescue them from Gaza to Egypt

Mohammed has been living in a horrible situation for about 5 months -and still counting -facing death , destruction and hunger. he is now living in a tent in rafah with his 8 members family.

here is Mohamed's story, please take a minute and read it :

hello world , I'm Mohamed, a doctor from Gaza. I graduated last year from the faculty of medicine Alexandria university in Egypt and returned to my family and home in Gaza after 6 years living away from them. I just finished my first year as a medical intern.

me and my family, of my parents , two brothers ,and 4 sisters have been living an ongoing nightmare with no end for about 5 months and still ,we are trapped in Gaza surrounded by death.

we were forced to evacuate our home in northern Gaza at the beginning of war due to excessive bombing and destruction with no place to go.

we slept in a school filled with 12,000 displaced people in nusirat camp in the middle area for 3 months before it was declared as a dangerous area so we had to leave to rafah.

due to the overpopulation, spread of diseases, lack of clean water and food and the insane number of injured due to nonstop bombing I decided to volunteer to be the only doctor at the school. I had to go to medical centres and hospitals with a donkey card as no other vehicles available under a sky filled with bombing to provide some medications for school.

now, it ended up with sleeping in a tent in rafah suffering from lack of food, clean water and medications and facing the cold weather with no enough warm clothes or blankets. there is no electricity and we depend on a little source to charge our phones. I started volunteering again with some primitive medical equipment in my tent to help people .

we were hopping we can find safety in rafah - as we were told- but apparently there is no safe place for us as the sky is filled with air forces and the sound of bombing and destruction is in everywhere around us.

my family:

our life before war was calm and full of dreams. our home was our favourite place. my brother (19 y) was accepted into college in a university in Gaza just before the war. my youngest brother (12y) is in school and I have a sister (16y) who is in secondary school . my other sisters ;2 of them graduated (25y, 24y) and one is still in collage(21y).

now, our home as well as all our dreams and future are destroyed. we lost everything.

I'm the oldest and I really hope l can help in saving all my family and start a new life to achieve all our dreams.

what we need :

I'm exhausted and can't take it anymore .it's a difficult decision but we don't have any other choices to escape death,we decided to get out of Gaza to a safer place in Egypt until the end of war.

we need 5k USD per adult and 2,5k for child for rafah crossing border for now as the cost changes everyday. a total of 42,5k for 9 members (8 adults and 1 child) and around 30k for living cost in Egypt and for continuing our education (2 in school and 2 in college) and also to complete my dream of becoming a doctor.and gofundme transaction fees (about2,9%) and it can be more . a total of 75k USD. I am not able to afford anything as we lost all our savings due to evacuation of our home with just basic staff and the very expensive life during war.all my work during war was voluntary without any money back

أنا محمد طبيب خريج منذ أكثر سنه من كلية الطب جامعة الإسكندرية وأنهيت فترة تدريبي خلال الحرب

،بعد بدء الحرب على غزة نزحت أنا وعائلتي إلى جنوب غزة بحثا عن الأمان بعد تعرض منزلنا للضرر الكبير ، وأقمنا في مدرسة للنازحين مدة ثلاتة أشهر ،لم يكن هناك أي خدمات طبية في المدرسة وكان هناك ما يعادل ١٢ ألف نازح ، وبسبب سوء الأحوال المعيشية وتكدس النازحين وقلة الماء والغذاء والذي تسبب في انتشار الكثير من الامراض المعدية ، قررت العمل كطبيب متطوع لكي أساعد النازحين وزيادة التثقيف الطبي قدر الإمكان ، وذهبت لكثير من المراكز الطبية لكي أوفر بعض الأدوية المهمة من خلال عربة يجرها الحمار ، وذلك وسط الكثير من القصف والخطر ، وخلال هذه المدة نجحت في مساعدة الكثير من النازحين ، وطبعا دون أي أجر مادي بل كان أجري هو دعاء النازحين لي بالخير دائما ، وبعد ذلك تفاقم الخطر في منطقتنا فاضطررنا للنزوح الى مكان آخر بعيد (رفح) ، وهناك عشنا أنا وأهلي في الخيام بوسائل بدائية بسيطة جداً وبدأت ثانياً مساعدة النازحين ومعالجتهم بما لدي من إمكانيات بسيطة في خيمتي وذلك منذ شهرين تقريبا ، وطبعا بما أني لم أتقاضى أي أجر مادي خلال هذه الفترة ، كنا نأمل في الحصول علي بعض الامان في رفح لكن لا يمر يوم بدون قصف مستمر و هناك تهديدات بدخول القوات الي رفح .

يعز علي ترك بلدي أو طلب المساعدة و لكن علي مساعدة عائلتي المكونة من ٩ أفراد للحصول علي الامان ، وفي ظل هذه الظروف الصعبة والغلاء الفاحش ف لا استطيع توفير ما يكفي لخروجنا الي مصر إلي أن تنتهي الحرب

تكلفة خروج الشخص البالغ ٥ آلاف دولار و الطفل ٢,٥ الف دولار و نحتاج الي ما يقرب ٤٢,٥ الف دولار للخروج و في حدود ٣٠ الف لتغطية تكاليف المعيشة و التعليم
