Save Charlie the German Shepherd Puppy

Charlie is a six month old German Shepherd puppy who sustained life threatening injuries two months ago after being attacked and left with huge wounds on his hind quarters and legs.  UPDATE:  Charlie has been diagnosed with excess fluid in his lungs and an enlarged heart.  The veterinarian is doing an upper GI today to assess for mega-esophagus and conducting other tests to determine why his heart is enlarged.

We have been fostering him since June and his wounds have healed but now he is facing more issues.  Westside German Shepherd Rescue, Los Angeles, is who we volunteer with and they currently have Charlie at the vet for assessment.  The money we raise will be used to pay for his medical bills and any money left over will be donated directly to WGSR to help other pups in need.   Everyone who meets Charlie falls in love with him, he is a goofball and even after being nearly killed, he never misses a beat with love and smiles.  We want Charlie to have the best life ever because we love him bigger than the sky.  Thank you to all our friends and neighbors who come to visit him everyday too - he looks forward to the visits.  We are so grateful for any help you might be able to spare for this sweet beautiful baby.  Please send angels, emissaries, prayers, elves and fairies to sweet Charlie!
