Save captain Jim

This is plea for help for Jim Nickerson who has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer this month a few day’s before his 53rd Birthday.

Jim just turned 53 and is a single father of an 11 year old daughter and 15 year old autistic son. Jim is a loving father and has been the driving force behinds his children's success. Jim has been working full time and raising his children for the past 5 years since their mother suffered two major catastrophic health events leaving her unable to help raise the children.

Jim has lovingly taken on the role for Mother, Father and Bread winner for the family while being a good friend helping many and a great role model for his kids.

John, Jim’s son is an amazing Saxophone player and loves school and his friends! He depends a lot on his father and they have a very close relationship. This relationship has directly contributed to John’s success !

Rose, Jim’s Daughter loves drawing pictures of Anime Characters and has become quite good at it ! Rose’ relationship with her father has helped her adjust to not having a mother always in her life guiding her as a young lady. She also is close to her father and needs him as a parent in this emotional critical time in her young life.

Jim was born in South Los Angeles in a broken home but despite his social-economic disadvantages, educated himself and has been successfull in the computer field working in the SF Bay area. Jim always wanted a family of his own and planned to and created a great family environment along with two amazing children.

This health issue came as a complete surprise and has advanced quickly despite the efforts of his medical support system to make all the necessary steps and procedures to help Jim get better. Jim is physically week and is not able to work now, but continues to do his best and will benefit from your support and contributions, love and support !

Please Help Jim and his Wonderful Family to Survive this horrible challenge.
