Save Capelli Couture Salon

It’s hard to imagine to be put in a position of losing everything you have ever worked for. Maria Repetto had a dream of owning a salon. 5 years ago her dream came true and she opened Capelli Couture Salon in Willow Glen with a group of 10 of us working there.

With owning the salon, Maria has given back to the community. Supporting the community of Willow Glen in participating in all the wine walks and events, to cutting hair for the homeless on Thanksgiving Day. Adopting a women’s and children home at Christmas time. Holding fundraisers to people that lost everything after the devastating fires. She is the definition of putting others first before herself.

Now Maria needs the help and support from us, the community. Back in March we were hit with the Coronavirus and had to close down our doors. In that time we lost half our group of stylists, rent for the salon still be demanded,  loans and funds not being approved due to not having employees. Everyday Maria is applying for grants and coming up with ways to create funds such as curbside pickup and color kits. But that’s not enough. The funds we raise for Maria will help keep the salon a float while we are in shut down until the end of the year.

Last week we got the ok to reopen with the added requirements and regulations. That was quite an expense to prep the salon and get the PPE we needed. The day we reopened was also the day we got the devastating news of having to close indefinitely. so your donation will help cover these added expenses And no income from this closure (Unemployment is is barely anything and the stimulus of the added $600 ends at the end of July).
