Berkeley Community Physical Therapy has been a foundation for rehab and healing for over 35 years, founded by local practitioners who believed in one-on-one health care and access for all. The practitioners at Berkeley Community Physical Therapy (BCPT) look at healing as an art using a combination of both manual skills and one-on-one care.
Our clinic’s commitment to equity involves access for Medi-Cal and Medi-Care patients and many local insurance companies as well as coordinating with Lifelong Clinics to deliver care to those community members most marginalized by mainstream models.
And very importantly, we deliver care at a private rate lower than any clinic in the Bay Area.
We are reaching out to our beloved community for your support in our time of need -- so we can continue to provide the physical therapy resources and support to the community we love!
We incurred a $40K debt during the pandemic from a previous landlord. Like many local vital community establishments, we have no financial buffer because of the toll that the pandemic years took on our business -- but our commitment to the community is strong.
