I’m homeless. Do you care? Likely not. Did I once matter? Yes. Have I failed? Too many times. Did I once know success? Yes. If I died tomorrow would I’d matter? No. I’m simply a vapor in this endless universe, just like you. Do I wish I were dead? Yes. Do I want to die? No. I have dreams and aspirations, just like you. My life matters, or so I’ve been told. I’m a child of God, and He loves me. Society? You frown on me without ever knowing my story or my worth. My goal? To get off the street and rebuild my life. When I do, I want to help others like me. Value and kindness is not beholden to any world view, why? Because God loves each of us without status or labels.
