Save Bankdraft!

COVID-19 lockdowns have taken a large toll on the tourism industry as a whole here in Cayman Islands. Unfortunately, Benjie Bodden and his wonderful family have really experienced the worst that this year has had to offer. Benjie arrived at the Cayman Island Yacht Club last Friday to find their beloved boat, Bankdraft, and their sole source of income had tragically taken on water and sunk.  As you can see from the photos the entire hull was submerged, leaving extensive damage to the interior and a hopelessly large repair bill.  We are asking for your help to get this amazing family back on their feet and get Bankdraft back on the water where she belongs.  

As most of you may know, Benjie is a local businessman, father of two, devoted husband and friend to  many. He has helped train many young Caymanians as boat handlers and fisherman and has supported countless people in his life.  Unfortunately now, the Bodden family is in need of this community's love and support.  

This fundraiser will help cover the costs of all the extensive repair work that needs to be done to get this small local business up and running again, and will therefore help  other businesses in the community.
