Save an El Salvadorian Mother

My dear friend Javier Garcia, who I met during my time in El Salvador and have stayed in close contact with since, desperately called me asking for help to fund an operation for his mother. His mother has stage three kidney cancer and needed the operation a while ago. They will not operate until they pay the amount in full. This opperation costs $11,000 USD. Miraculously, living in a country that has a monthly minimum wage of $200-$300 USD, his friends and family were able to save the majority of the expense. I am not in a financial possition to fund the remaining amount and so he has asked me to help him create this page to gather support for the rest. He wrote a message that I have included and I will do my best to translate it with my rusty Spanish:
"She is my mother, who is 54 years old. We are a family of 7 siblings. She suffers from many problems of the heart due to a tachycardia, but what is worse is that last year they detected kidney cancer. Her treatments are very expensive and her operation to extract the cancer is even more expensive. Everyone is trying to gather the money necessary, so that we won't have to see our mother suffer. She is a marvelous woman with many virtures and we need a little more help to gather the needed amount. The operation costs $11,000 and we have gathered $8,000 and we still need $3,000. For this I ask for your help. We do not have the means to gather any more money. The life in Central America is very difficult and we ask you to help us, so that our mother can continue to be by our side. Please help us."
"Ella es mi madre tiene 54 años de edad somos una familia con 7 hermanos ella sufre muchos problemas en su corazón debido una taquicardia pero lo peor a año pasado es detectarle cáncer de riñón su tratamiento es muy caro y su operación para extraer el cáncer es aun mas cara entre todos tratamos de reunir el dinero necesario para no ver sufrir a nuestra madre ella es un mujer maravillosa con muchas virtudes y necesitamos ayudar un mas pero no tenemos ya los medios para reunir la cantidad que es de 11,000 dolares logramos reunir 8,000 pero aun nos falta 3000 por eso pido de su ayuda nosotros no tenemos los medios para conseguir mas dinero en centro América la vida es muy difícil y pedimos puedan ayudarnos para que nuestra madre pueda estar nuestro lado por más tiempo por favor"
