Save Alvino the cat

Donation protected

Hey, it's me Alvino the cat.
I'm sick you guys, so I need your help. My parents noticed on Valentines day that I wasn't eating (because my mouth hurts) so the day after they took me to the vet. Turns out, I have something called severe juvenile gingivostomatitis and caudal oral mucositis. According to the veterinary it's an infection and it's eating away at my gums and teeth. If not treated the infection will hollow out my teeth and spread to my jawbone, and my parents wouldn't tell me anymore than that. The problem is, it's really expensive to treat and my parents don't have nearly enough money themselves. So they need your help to get me help.

We need approx 5250$ to be more exact.

There's some info below from my parents that includes figures and details far too complicated for a 1,5 year old cat.If you want to get to know me a little better before deciding if you want to help you can take a look at my feed on Instagram @catkittencrazycute .My parents also wanted me to stress that every single dime that is potentially not used for my medical procedures will be donated to the rescue shelter I was adopted from as a previously abandoned kitten: Kattens Vern (The Cats Protection) in Norway. Some info from my parents:
This is urgent.
It's already painful for Alvino, and he is on painkillers. If it's not treated it will soon become life threatening and terminal both due to the inflammation and infection, and the eventual inability to eat. We noticed he hadn't touched his food (which is very unusual) on Valentines and took him to the vet the next day.
We've tossed and turned over what we could have done differently to stop this from happening, but according to the vet there was no preventative measures we could have put in place, due the nature of his illness and that he most likely is genetically predisposed.

We have spent 200$ so far and have 800$ more in our savings, but that will not cover the procedures he needs. Norway is way too expensive when it comes to animal treatments. We have insurance, but it doesn't cover treatments and procedures that has to do with teeth and the oral cavity.

Your donations will enable us to give Alvino the procedures he needs to get well, which includes:
Full blood work
X-ray of all teeth
Narcosis
Dental scaling
Gingival resection
Teeth extraction
Notes from the vet includes "Must book in near future as it is a painful condition."We adopted Alvino from a shelter when he was just 2,5 months old. We instantly fell in love with his quirky personality and his overwhelming need for cuddles. He and his siblings was dropped in a cardboard box on the step of the shelter and was taken in and cared for by the shelter. All of them now have warm and loving forever homes. This little guy is the heart of our two person-one cat household , and we can and will not part with him. It would mean absolutely everything to us if you decide to donate. By helping save Alvino, you'll save the little family that we've built. Every dollar and cent helps! We're eternally grateful for all donations! If you are having trouble donating through GoFundMe, we also have a PayPal page for Alvino at:
