Savannah Wetherford Accident Needs Fund

My name is Alison Woodbury, and I am creating this Go Fund Me for Savannah Wetherford.

I have known Savannah for almost 20 of her 22 years. She was a dance student of mine turned teacher. Her mother, Patricia, is currently our studio manager. They both are like family to me and so many other people. They have the most caring hearts and give all of themselves to people without expecting anything in return.

Savannah is an amazingly talented dancer who has studied in many places, including L.A., before the pandemic. She is also the most kind, most caring, loving person I have ever met! In ALL of those 19 years, she has never answered me with anything other than "yes, Ma'am."

She is a beautiful young Christian woman who also LOVES God! She knows He is the almightly and has a plan!

Savannah has a passion for helping people, so she was led to become a Medical Material Distributor during the day. She works extremely hard at everything she does, so we know she will work hard to get through this as well!

God has been doing excellent work these past few days with her progress.

However, getting back to 100% or close to it will be a very long journey!

Savannah's devastating accident was on Tuesday, August 23rd at about 5:30 pm. What was supposed to be a dinner with a friend turned into a beginning of a devastating event.

Savannah was hit head-on by an F150 truck that crossed the line with no warning. She could not even attempt to stop as it happened in a blink of an eye.

Savannah suffered a brain bleed and is continuing to fight for her recovery. She also has a leg laceration, which goes through to the muscle. Due to her being in a "sleep" state since the accident and unable to speak at first, she was not given any pain medication other than Tylenol. She is a superhero!

At first, her family did not want to bother anyone with a fund page. However, new information has emerged, and they may need more help than they will get from insurance.

If you can donate to help them along this long journey through recovery and other things, they would be very appreciative. This family is always there for others and has a hard time accepting help from others. It is their turn to get their blessing as they have blessed so many others!

Currently, the plan is for the funds to be used for medical expenses and immediate needs. It is unclear, at this moment, how extensive her recovery will be as she is slowly waking up.
