Savannah vs Brain Tumor
Donation protected
Savannah is an incredible, athletic, compassionate sixteen year old girl hit suddenly with a life altering diagnosis. As everyone else was celebrating the New Year, Savannah and her family were learning that she has a brain tumor.
The team at the University of South Carolina - Charleston are scheduled to perform surgery on her left temporal lobe on January 28th. She will be in ICU for several days before being discharged directly into rehab to relearn the things that surgery may impair.
Like so many across the country, Savannah does not have major medical coverage for such things. Affordable just isn't the word it's described as.
MRIs, surgery, intensive care, rehab: all of these things are imminently necessary and mind numbingly expensive. We're asking for your help as we circle the wagons around our sweet Savannah so that she can return to the life of a teenager on the edge of everything that's possible in the world. With your help, she and her family can focus on restoring her health & getting her back to her life as an Army ROTC student, cross country runner, honor student, and genuinely funny - sometimes outlandish - young lady.
Savannah has named this Roberto the Tumero & It's Gotta Go Go.
Any amount, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated, as an investment in the future.
